Redzuan House
Kempas, Johor Bahru
Completed in 2015
The plan is effectively a ‘doughnut’ with accommodation surrounding a central, linear, open-to-sky courtyard with a swimming pool and nature introduced in the form of tree planting.
Entered from the southwest into a serambi, the house effectively has two wings flanking the pool – the east wing is predominantly ‘public’ leading to a home office and the living room; the west wing is ‘private’, consisting of bedrooms and bathrooms culminating in the master bedroom suite with a home theatre along the northern boundary.
